Peter J. Slocum
Managing Director

Peter co-founded Bayview Capital Group and has over 30 years of direct sell-side merger and acquisition experience in the middle market. Prior to starting Bayview, he was a Vice President and Principal at Norwest Corporate Finance where he advised clients on mergers, acquisitions, and business valuations. Before joining Norwest, he was a Vice President for Western Companies, a private investment banking firm specializing in the sale of middle market businesses. Peter has investment banking and valuation experience with businesses in a wide range of industries and has appeared as an expert witness in the area of business valuation. He was a co-founder of Bayview Capital Partners I LP SBIC (now Tonka Bay Equity Partners), before taking over Bayview Capital Group in 2004. Peter has a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He enjoys sailboat racing, iceboating and attempting to play golf. Peter and his wife have three grown children and live in Woodland, MN.

Nicholas Greenberg
Managing Director

In his main role with Bayview, Nicholas leads the research and drafting efforts which produce client Confidential Information Memoranda.  

Nicholas has over 15 years of professional services experience.  From 2004-2010, he was Vice President of M&A with Bayview Capital Group, where he assisted with all aspects of M&A transactions.  From 2010-2013, he served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, with primary roles including project management and content delivery for enterprise strategy and due diligence efforts.  After McKinsey & Company, Nicholas has continued consulting as founder and Director of Midwest Strategy Partners, LLC (“MSP,” www.mwstrategypartners.com).  With MSP, his consulting practice focuses on serving the due diligence, growth strategy, and M&A strategy needs of private equity groups and middle-market operating companies. 

Nicholas received an MBA in Finance as a Dean’s Fellow at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a B.A. from Stanford University.
